We have served Parrish, Ellenton, and Palmetto since 2006 and are pleased to welcome new customers from the Lakewood Ranch and Heritage Harbor areas with the opening of the Ft. Hamer Bridge. Our Parrish location is in the Publix shopping center at the corner of US Highway 301 and Old Tampa Road. In addition to the well-stocked food and pet sections you’ll find, our Parrish location is also certified for exotics by the USDA, so you can even get skunks, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, prairie dogs and more.

Pets Plus will gladly match regular and sale prices found at local and national competing pet retailers as well as online pet-specific websites, for an identical item. We do not price match third-party sites such as Amazon & eBay for example. Many manufacturers do not consider them to be an Authorized Retailer and share concerns in controlling the authenticity, freshness or safety of the products they distribute from third-party sellers.
We do our very best to offer you, our customer, competitive pricing every day. If you should find an advertised price, or coupon, for savings on an identical in-stock item from a local retail pet store competitor, we’ll honor the competitor’s promotional price.
NOTE: All advertisements or coupons must have an expiration date and be presented at time of purchase within the valid date. Must be for product sold at Pets Plus. Coupons stating “Not valid with any other discount or offer” will not be valid with sale priced items. Competitor’s closeout, special order, discontinued, clearance, liquidation and damaged items are excluded. On % off promotions Pets Plus may select to honor what the competitor’s final price would be after discount. May be limited to reasonable quantities. Pets Plus will not accept coupons that have been copied or altered. Pets Plus reserves the right to accept or refuse coupons at its own discretion, or terminate this program without notice.
We strive to ensure that all the animals we sell are in good health prior to releasing them to their new homes. With this in mind, we have developed a guarantee that endeavors to be fair to all parties, while keeping the best interest of the pet in mind.
Small Animals, Reptiles & Birds: 15 Days
Freshwater Fish: 72 hours
Saltwater Fish: None
In all cases the customer must provide a copy of their receipt, along with the critter or fish in question, in order to receive store credit. For fish claims, a separate water sample that tests “acceptable” is required; otherwise we will happily coach on how to remedy problem areas.
If there are any signs or symptoms of distress, please notify us as soon as possible so that we may correct the issue prior to it becoming more serious. We would much prefer that your pet be able to return, healthy, to its home with you.
We reserve the right to modify, change, or rescind this guarantee at any time, in our sole discretion, if we feel it is being abused, or if we feel it is in the best interest of the animal(s).
Refunds or exchanges will gladly be honored within 30 days of purchase, with the following conditions:
Must be unused
Must be in complete original packaging
Must be in re-saleable condition
Must have valid purchase receipt
Returns will be credited as per original payment. If card is not present, only store credit will be given.
No returns or exchanges on livestock or special order items.
Used items with a warranty claim will be exchanged or referred, as per the original manufacturer’s warranty provisions.
All “SALE” and discounted items are FINAL SALE – no returns, refunds, or exchanges.
We understand that in some cases it may be helpful to have your purchase held at the store until a later time. We will gladly do so for a maximum period of sixty (60) days under the following conditions:
We will require a minimum deposit of 20% of the purchase price (excluding sales tax).
You will have up to sixty (60) days from the date of your initial deposit to complete the payment of your purchase and pick up your item(s).
Any item(s) remaining after the sixty (60) days will become store property once again, and you will forfeit any deposits or payments that you have made.
If you decide to cancel your purchase within thirty (30) days from the date of your initial deposit, you will receive a complete refund – less a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price (excluding sales tax).
Livestock is specifically excluded from this policy. Should a need arise in this particular category, please see us for consideration.
Any deviation from this policy must be in writing by Pets Plus management to be valid. Thank you for your patronage.
